farewell to summer

I must say this summer has treated me well. I am sad to let it go, but excited for a new chapter, a crisp colorful fall. And can I just say- SENIOR YEAR BABY. Here are my favorite things about this summer-

+ lazy mornings w/ jack johnson on replay

+ seeing fireworks explode in the distance for no reason other than: It's summer!

+ late night skinny dips in the lake

+ snowies. As well as other frozen delicacies

+ wearing sandals everyday! #saltwaterbandwagon

+ summer fruit! Peaches especially. 

+ photographing all my friends in beautiful places 

+ freckles, freckles, freckles. No tan... But frecks galore. 

+ waking up to sunshine through my curtains. (Not an alarm)

+ the wonderful feeling of not needing to layer up, the sun on my skin. Although I do love bundling up in the fall, for now I am enjoying my share of warmth. The very small share that utah has to offer.

Fourth

Happy Fourth of July! I got to cheer in the parade with my team, and after, I went to breakfast with my sisters. Me and Allie watched the fireworks together, I absolutely looove fireworks. Didn't do anything extra cool, but it was a good day!

Road trip.

 

This started out as a trip to Mexico, but we ended up staying in San Clemente and Las Vegas as well so I promoted it to road trip. I annoyed everyone with my incessant picture taking, and that is mostly what this post consists of. Well, here goes nothing-

daily dose

 i wear ripped jeans and chucks just about everyday, you could say I'm a fashion icon. or lazy. ill let you decide.

 any rate, { i keep hearing people say this, who knew it was even a real thing } my cute flower is in full bloom! that means it will probably die soon, but at least i managed this long.

picked up this gem at sun river gardens. i have a knack for killing plants, so if this one doesn't last, I'm moving onto cacti. but with my record i will probably kill those too.

 

on another note, saturdays are my most favorite of them all. i wish everyday were a saturday
